Its important to consider that trust is not all or nothing. 'Calibrated' trust in AI refers to the ideal alignment between a person's confidence in a system and its actual capabilities. Achieving this balance is crucial; over-trust can lead to complacency and over reliance on new tools, while under-trust might result in underutilisation of potentially highly beneficial technology. Calibrated trust UX and user guidance ensures that users accurately understand and appropriately rely on the system even when its capabilities may still be limited or evolving.

How can you accurately preprocess AI data?
Many AI systems use 'retrieval augmented generation' (RAG) to combine prompts with relevant external information to enhance responses. To improve the performance of RAG embedding based retrieval, cleaning, pre-processing and res-structuring data inputs in a way that hypothetically matches the ideal data you want retrieved is a handy technique. Search for the HyDE or 'hypothetical document embeddings' pattern to find out more.

How can you accurately preprocess AI data?
Two useful additional tips: 1. Use GPT-4 for visualization ideas: GPT-4's code interpreter mode can help brainstorm unique data visualizations. Start by uploading your output data and requesting examples from GPT-4. This approach frequently uncovers new ideas, which you can further explore and refine during the chat session. 2. Use graph-based visualizations: Graph DB inspired techniques can offer a more intuitive representation of complex datasets. In graphs, 'nodes' symbolize entities (like individuals, locations, objects), while 'edges' depict the links or interactions between them. This help to visualise interwoven data patterns in a clear, comprehensible manner. Try D3.js networks to get started.
